It's so hard to watch your little one struggle.

Being a parent is incredibly hard and there is no one size fits all approach to parenting. It is totally normal to feel overwhelmed at times and to need support.

Even if you aren't completely sure that you're ready to take the leap to start your child in therapy, you're taking a huge step in the right direction by exploring the options for support.

I think you've found the right place to be and I'd love to support your family!

Let me tell you a little more about myself ...

Before becoming an outpatient therapist, I was an elementary school counselor. These experiences give me a strong background in understanding the developmental needs of young children and have led to an approach that is both rooted in both play and age-appropriate skill building. My background in schools has also given me tools in consulting with important adults in children’s lives- such as educators and physicians. I firmly believe in joining with parents and providing support through education throughout the therapeutic process.

I love seeing young children learn new skills, develop an emotional vocabulary, make connections with peers and family members, and flourish as they grow.

I have lived in WNC since 2013 and am originally from Atlanta, GA. Outside of the office you'll find me reading, listening to music, hiking with my mutt and husband, and baking.
